The Eris chair is a flatpack chair made from Baltic Birch plywood and CNC technology. This chair has 14 pieces that nest together to make the full piece. The design process for this project involved the use of both AutoCAD and Fusion 360, as well as multiple 3D printed models. The entire project was done by hand with no AI involvement. This project is not inspired by anything in particular but is reminiscent of both the Art Deco movement and the Mid Century Modern style.
