Roxie is a chair made of 0.75 inch metal tubes welded together. The goal of this project was to create a metal chair inspired by a duet, the duet in this case was leather and lace. The back is inspired by corset which was the main inspiration for the chair. The seat uses the moire effect with two perforated sheets of metal and create a lace effect. The chair is powder coated a deep red, inspired by burlesque which appears throughout the work.
